Role Description

The Junior Admissions Counselor is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai. The role involves engaging with prospective students and families, providing clear information on programs, admissions processes, and campus life, and guiding them through application and enrollment steps. The counselor will handle inquiries via in-person meetings, phone calls, email, and digital channels, maintain accurate records in admissions systems, and support outreach activities such as campus visits, events, and school or college fairs. This position also includes collaborating with academic and administrative teams, assisting with documentation and reporting, and contributing to initiatives that enhance the prospective student

experience.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Communication and Interpersonal Communication skills for effective interaction with prospective students, families, and internal stakeholders.
• Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide timely, helpful, and respectful support throughout the admissions journey.
• Candidates should possess Sales-related skills, including relationship-building and persuasive communication, to support admissions targets ethically and transparently.
• Candidates should possess an understanding of the Education domain, preferably with prior experience in academic counseling, student services, or education-related roles.
• Relevant qualifications include a bachelor's degree in any discipline, strong organizational and time-management abilities, proficiency with MS Office and basic CRM or database tools, and the capacity to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• An interest in management education, familiarity with the Indian higher education landscape, and prior experience in admissions or student recruitment will be considered an advantage.
