Role Description

The Admission Counsellor will be responsible for engaging prospective students through tele-calling, counselling them on SGI's UG and PG programs, and converting leads into confirmed admissions. The role involves guiding students through the application process, ensuring form completion, and driving campus visits where required to achieve admission targets.

Key Responsibilities

Make outbound tele-calls to prospective students and parents generated through marketing leads.

Counsel students regarding UG and PG courses, eligibility criteria, fee structure, and career prospects.

Convince and guide interested candidates to fill the application/admission form.

Follow up with leads regularly to ensure conversion into confirmed admissions.

Encourage and schedule campus visits for walk-in admissions when required.

Maintain accurate records of calls, follow-ups, and conversions in CRM or lead management systems.

Address student queries and resolve concerns in a professional and timely manner.

Coordinate with internal teams for documentation, verification, and admission closure.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Graduate/Post-graduate in any discipline.

Experience in tele-sales, admission counselling, or education sales preferred.

Excellent communication and persuasion skills in Hindi and English.

Ability to handle high call volumes.

Basic knowledge of CRM systems and MS Office.
