Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented E-Commerce Accountant to manage daily bookkeeping and streamline our accounting operations across Shopify, Amazon, Nykaa, and other online marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily bookkeeping, ledger entries, and reconciliation
- Maintain accurate books on Tally/ERP and ensure all records are always up to date
- Reconcile Shopify, Amazon, Nykaa, and other marketplaces data with ERP
- Manage payouts, settlement reports, chargebacks, returns, and commissions
- Ensure GST, TDS, and compliance-related entries are properly recorded
- Ensuring accurate inventory management and stock reconciliation
- Assist in the integration of Shopify + marketplaces with Tally/ERP for automated invoice posting and accounting entries
- Coordinate with the tech team to set up automation workflows and troubleshoot discrepancies
- Prepare financial summaries and reports for management
- Support audits and ensure financial hygiene across all e-commerce operations
Qualifications
- 13 years of experience in e-commerce accounting or D2C/startup finance
- Proficiency in Tally/ERP systems and Advanced Excel / Google Sheets
- Strong understanding of Shopify/Amazon/Nykaa settlements, fees & reconciliation
- Experience (or strong willingness to learn) API-based integrations & automation tools
- High accuracy, ownership, and attention to detail
