Junior Accountant

Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to assist in day-to-day accounting operations, maintain financial records, and support the finance team in ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update accounting records and ledgers
• Pass journal entries and assist in bookkeeping
• Handle accounts payable & receivable
• Prepare and process invoices, bills, and vouchers
• Assist in bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
• Support in GST data preparation and filing
• Assist in TDS calculation and returns
• Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions
• Help in monthly and yearly closing activities
• Coordinate with auditors when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles
• Familiarity with GST, TDS, and basic taxation
• Knowledge of accounting software like Tally / Excel
• Good understanding of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and organizational skills

Experience

• 0–3 years of experience

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Experience in Tally Prime or ERP systems
• Exposure to audit or compliance work
• Knowledge of payroll processing

Working Hours

• Full-time (Monday to Saturday, as per company policy)

Reporting To

• Accounts Manager / Finance Head
