Junior Accountant

Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for freshers/entry-level candidates eager to start their career in accounting and finance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor accounts payable/receivable.
• Prepare and process invoices and payments.
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proficient in accounting software (SAP,Tally, QuickBooks, Peachtree etc.).
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
