Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Accountant role based in Rajkot. The Junior Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, including recording journal entries, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable. The role involves preparing and updating invoices, tracking payments, reconciling bank statements, and assisting in monthly and annual closing activities. The Junior Accountant will help compile financial reports, maintain accurate documentation, and support statutory compliances in coordination with senior finance team members. The position also includes collaborating with internal departments to clarify billing or expense queries and contributing to process improvements within the finance function.
Qualifications
  • Strong foundation in basic accounting principles, journal entries, ledgers, and financial statements.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Tally or similar ERP), MS Excel, and general MS Office tools.
  • Attention to detail for data entry, document verification, and reconciliation of accounts and bank statements.
  • Understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and expense tracking processes.
  • Ability to assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities under guidance.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; relevant internships or 0–2 years of experience preferred.
  • Willingness to learn, adapt to new systems and processes, and work collaboratively with the finance and operations teams.
