Junior Accountant

Mitti - Organic. Fresh. Desi. is an Indian Bistro dedicated to promoting a healthy and conscious lifestyle through its organic and vegetarian menu. Located in Indore, the restaurant offers a variety of Indian dishes, including gluten-free and vegan options, using natural and wholesome ingredients. All meals are prepared without processed foods, refined sugar, or artificial ingredients, relying on jaggery, honey, khandsari sugar, and dates as sweeteners. Mitti's food is made with extra virgin olive oil or cold-pressed oils, and its bakery segment, Mitti Bakes, creates low-calorie and vegan baked goods. Dishes are served in environmentally friendly packaging to ensure minimal impact on the environment.

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Accountant at our Indore location. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing reports, managing invoices, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Additional duties include reconciling accounts, assisting in financial audits, and supporting the team with expense tracking and budget management. The role demands a keen eye for detail and efficient time management to support the financial operations of the restaurant and bakery.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and bookkeeping.
• Proven experience with managing invoices, accounts reconciliations, and budget tracking.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain attention to detail under strict deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Prior experience in the food or hospitality industry is a plus, but not mandatory.
