Job Title: Junior Accountant

M20 Urban Spaces, part of the Mohan Mutha Group, focuses on Family business advisory services, Investments, Wealth management and real estate and hospitality. The Group is also expanding into a Family Office and Advisory platform, supporting business families in governance, succession, and investments.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with at least 3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and audit support. The candidate will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, support senior accountants, and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting entries
• Maintain and update ledgers, journals, and financial records
• Assist in internal and external audits by preparing documents and reports
• Support the Senior Accountant in financial reporting and closing activities
• Handle Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory filings
• Prepare MIS reports and financial summaries Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

Requirements:

• B.Com or MBA in Finance
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in accounting and bookkeeping
• Hands-on experience in audit & financial support and statutory compliances.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
• Familiarity with accounting software (Tally, Zoho Books, or similar) Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
• Good attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working under a Senior Accountant or Finance Manager Knowledge of Indian taxation (GST, TDS, etc.)
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
