Job Overview

We are seeking a Chartered Accountant (Fresher) to join our Delhi-based Global Finance team supporting

our European operations headquartered in Germany. This is an excellent opportunity for a high-potential

CA to begin their career in an international finance environment, gain hands-on exposure to IFRS and

German GAAP (HGB), and work closely with stakeholders across multiple EU jurisdictions. The role is part

of a centralized global finance support structure designed to deliver high-quality accounting services to our

European entities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and post day-to-day accounting transactions for assigned European entities, including

accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.

  • Support month-end and quarter-end closing activities, including accruals, prepayments, and

standard journal entries in line with reporting timelines set by the German finance team.

  • Prepare account reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of open items in coordination with

onshore counterparts.

  • Assist in the preparation of intercompany invoices, balance confirmations, and reconciliations

across EU group entities.

  • Maintain accurate and audit-ready documentation in compliance with internal controls and group

accounting policies.

  • Support statutory and group audits by preparing schedules, samples, and supporting

documentation as required.

  • Collaborate with team leads and German stakeholders to clarify queries and ensure accuracy of

financial data.

  • Continuously develop technical knowledge of IFRS and exposure to German accounting standards

(HGB).

Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) - Fresher (first or second attempt preferred).
  • Strong fundamentals in accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel (lookups, pivot tables, basic formulas).
  • Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work with international

stakeholders.

  • High attention to detail, ownership mindset, and willingness to learn in a structured global finance

environment.

  • Articleship experience with a Big 4 or reputed mid-tier audit firm.
  • Exposure to IFRS during articleship or academic projects.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Awareness of European business or accounting practices.
