Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, examine, and maintain various financial documents and records in line with increased public company requirements.
- Perform and post accurate and timely journal entries in Tally Prime.
- Assist in processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring transaction accuracy.
- Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and management reports.
- Assist in ensuring timely and accurate compliance with GST regulations.
- Conduct regular bank reconciliations and assist in ledger scrutiny.
- Support the senior accounting staff with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, data entry, and maintenance of organized financial files.
Required
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
- Hands-on proficiency and proven experience with Tally Prime.
- Solid knowledge of GST laws and compliance procedures.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data integrity.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet strict deadlines.
