About the Role
Light Canvas Studio Inc is looking for a talented and passionate Junior 3D Character Modeler to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should have good experience in stylized character modeling, especially for kids content, and be comfortable working within a Blender-based production pipeline.
- Key ResponsibilitiesCreate high-quality 3D character models with a focus on kids stylized designs
- Develop clean topology and efficient edge flow suitable for animation
- Perform texturing and shading for stylized characters
- Create and apply rigs for characters suitable for animation workflows
- Follow and contribute to the Blender production pipeline
- Collaborate with the team while also being able to work independently
- Ensure timely delivery of assets while maintaining quality standards
- Strong proficiency in Blender
- Expertise in character modeling, especially stylized/kids characters
- Good knowledge of texturing and materials
- Hands-on experience in character rigging
- Understanding of animation-ready topology and workflows
- Self-motivated, dedicated, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
