Position Overview:
A JSM Admin is a pivotal role in steering the technical direction of our JSM Platform, a person who ensures the successful delivery of high-quality technical support and architectural solutions for the platform.

Job Responsibilities:
Technical
Provide technical guidance and foster a collaborative and innovative environment.
Drive the technical vision and strategy, ensure alignment with business goals.
Support diverse organizational needs and Managing change and system updates.
Design transformation rules and mappings for migrating existing project data (issues, fields, workflows) from the current disparate schemes into the new standardized schemes in Jira Cloud. Ensuring security best practices are followed.
Produce detailed analyses of the impact of scheme standardization on various user groups and existing automation/integrations.

System Architecture
Contribute significantly to the design and evolution of the overall system architecture.
Ensure that platform solutions are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with best practices.
Define the policies, principles, and guardrails for the use and creation of new development custom fields post-migration to ensure the long-term health and governance of the Cloud instance.
Design the target, simplified, and standardized architecture for all core JSM components and Modules.
Project Leadership
Take ownership of projects, managing end-to-end development processes, timelines, and resources.
Collaborate closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Documentation
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation related to solution design, architecture, and development.
Provide documentation for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Collaboration and Communication
Team Player and collaborative team culture, encouraging open communication and knowledge sharing.
Communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and management on project status, technical decisions, and challenges.
Continuous Learning
Stay updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.
Lead initiatives for continuous learning within the team and contribute to the enhancement of development processes.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of proven experience as a JSM Admin or in a similar role
- Expertise in Integration, Solution designing for ITSM Module forms and workflows, and User Management.
- Strong understanding of Platform architecture, design patterns, and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication, leadership, and mentorship abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with JSM Type Schemes, Workflow Schemes, Permission Schemes, Notification Schemes, Portal and Field Configurations
