Responsibilities
- Build, customise, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Implement UI changes from Figma, ensuring pixel-perfect execution across devices.
- Optimise site speed, accessibility, and SEO fundamentals to deliver high-performing storefronts.
- Write clean, version-controlled code in Git and follow pull-request reviews.
- Collaborate daily with designers, project managers, and QA to deliver features on time and to spec.
- Troubleshoot live issues, debug theme errors, and implement hot-fixes without disrupting the customer experience.
- Document your work clearly so future team members can understand and build upon it.
Required Experience
- 6 to 12 months of Shopify development experience.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS & Javascript.
- Working knowledge of Liquid templating and the Shopify theme structure.
- Basic understanding of version control with Git and collaborative workflows (branching, pull requests).
- Good written and verbal English skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive attitude, strong problem-solving ability, and eagerness to learn new technologies quickly.
