Job Description:
The Junior Safety Officer will support the implementation of EHS programs to ensure a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace across manufacturing, R&D, warehouse, and office operations. The role includes conducting safety inspections, promoting safe work practices, investigating incidents, and ensuring compliance with statutory and company safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine safety inspections and identify workplace hazards.
- Ensure compliance with PPE, 5S, and safety procedures.
- Assist in incident reporting, investigation, and CAPA implementation.
- Support risk assessments (HIRA/JSA) and safety audits.
- Conduct employee safety inductions and toolbox talks.
- Monitor fire safety, emergency preparedness, and contractor safety.
- Ensure safe handling of lithium batteries, chemicals, and electrical equipment.
- Maintain EHS records, reports, and statutory documentation.
- Support compliance with ISO 45001 and applicable safety regulations.
- Prepare and share MIS reports as required.
Qualifications :
- Diploma/Degree in Industrial Safety, Fire & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing or electronics (Freshers with safety qualifications may also apply).
- Knowledge of Factory Act, ISO 45001, HIRA, JSA, PTW, LOTO, and MS Office is preferred.
