Position Summary
BOT VFX, a visual effects services company with global clients, is looking for a
Render Wrangler as a full-time
Permanent role. The position is based out of
Chennai.
Position Responsibilities
- Monitoring and managing render queues, prioritizing tasks to meet strict project deadlines.
- Troubleshooting and resolving rendering issues to optimize render efficiency and throughput.
- Collaborating with the VFX team to ensure the seamless integration of all rendered elements.
- Maintaining clear communication with supervisors and team members regarding render status and technical issues.
- Assisting in the development and refinement of render workflows and pipeline improvements.
- Providing technical support and guidance to other team members to ensure stable render outputs.
- Managing resource allocation across the render farm to prevent bottlenecks during peak production periods.
Required Skills
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience in a render wrangler or similar role within a VFX or animation studio.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in industry-standard rendering software and a solid understanding of VFX workflows.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of network environments and data management.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and logical reasoning abilities to fix technical errors.
