Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Interior Designer, located in Chennai. The Junior Interior Designer will assist in space planning, conceptualizing interior design solutions, creating construction drawings, and selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment). The role involves collaboration with senior designers and other project team members to ensure the delivery of creative, functional, and high-quality projects.

Qualifications

• Assist in developing interior design concepts, layouts, and presentations
• Create 2D drawings and 3D visualizations
• Support in space planning and material selection
• Work on client requirements and translate them into design solutions
• Coordinate with architects, vendors, and site teams
• Visit project sites for measurements, execution, and supervision
• Ensure designs meet client expectations, timelines, and budgets 
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design
• 1–3 years of experience in interior design or architectural firm
• Proficiency in tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, V-Ray, 3ds Max, or similar
• Basic knowledge of materials, furniture, lighting, and finishes
• Good understanding of space planning and design principles
