Job Description: We are seeking a Jr. graphic designer to join our team. You will be designing a wide variety of things across digital and offline media. To be successful in this position, you'll be a self-starter, capable of delivering brilliant creative ideas, and showing amazing attention to detail.

What we expect from the candidate:

• Ability to translate ideas, and mock-ups into visually engaging creatives.
• Knowledge of design principles such as composition, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience with branding projects and presentations.
• Experience with marketing campaigns, e-mailers, and social media communication.
• Commanding skills in graphic design tools like Adobe Illustrator, and Photoshop.
• Understanding of motion graphics & basic knowledge of Adobe After Effects will be looked at as an added advantage.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Planning concepts by studying relevant information and materials.
• Illustrating concepts by designing examples of art arrangement, size, type size, and style and submitting them for approval.
• Coordinating with outside agencies, art services, web designers, marketing, printers, and colleagues as necessary.
• Contributing with the marketing and sales team to create necessary graphics for various social media campaigns and presentations.
• Creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for product illustrations, company logos, and websites.
• Develop illustrations, logos & other designs using the software.
• Work with copywriters and creative team to produce the final design
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing.
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when necessary.

Competencies:

• Creativity: Ability to come up with creative, innovative and out of box ideas. Having a visual eye no matter what medium you work in.
• Communication Skills: Strong listening, speaking, and writing abilities. Should express ideas confidently, understand company needs, and hold engaging, professional conversations.
• Technical Knowledge: Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator,
• Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat). Knowledge of video editing / HTML email design skills is an added advantage.
• Attention to detail: Ability to maintain high accuracy and thoroughness when executing tasks and avoiding copyright infringement.
• Time Management: Effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Organisational skills: Ability to use given resources efficiently and effectively, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Enthusiasm: Exhibits passion and excitement over work. Has a can-do attitude.

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.

Software Needed: Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator/ Corel Draw, Figma etc.
