Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Jr. Customer Support Specialist, based in Ahmedabad. The role involves providing customer support, addressing queries, ensuring customer satisfaction, and delivering technical support related to the company's products and services. The Jr. Customer Support Specialist will also analyze customer feedback and troubleshoot issues to help improve service quality and efficiency.

  • Strong Interpersonal Skills to effectively communicate with clients and understand their needs
  • Technical Support skills to resolve product-related queries and issues efficiently
  • Analytical Skills to assess customer feedback and identify areas of improvement
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to handle multiple customer requests
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide field support for Vision Inspection Systems (Code inspection, Count/Check systems, defect detection, etc.)
  • Assist in installation, commissioning, and validation support (IQ/OQ support under guidance)
  • Troubleshoot software, camera, lighting, sensor, encoder, and PLC-related issues
  • Support customers during machine trials, FAT/SAT, and production runs
  • Analyze issues and share root cause analysis (RCA) with senior engineers
  • Perform preventive maintenance and system health checks
  • Coordinate with internal teams (R&D, QA, Project, Software) for issue resolution
  • Provide basic customer training on system operation and handling
  • Maintain service reports, visit reports, and documentation
  • Ensure timely closure of customer complaints and follow-ups

Technical Skills (Preferred):

  • Basic knowledge of Machine Vision Systems
  • Understanding of Cameras, Lenses, Lighting, and Image Processing
  • Basic knowledge of PLC, I/O signals, sensors, and encoders
  • Familiarity with Windows OS, networking, and industrial PCs
  • Exposure to Pharma / Packaging inspection systems is an advantage
  • Willingness to learn vision software and inspection algorithms

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet timelines
  • Team player with a learning mindset

Additional Requirements:

  • Flexible for shift support and urgent site visits
  • Basic documentation and reporting skills
  • MS Excel, Word etc.
