Jr. Business Analyst / Project Manager

About the Role:

• We are seeking a motivated Junior Business Analyst / Project Manager to join our Capital Markets Institutional Trading team.
• The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in financial markets, trade lifecycle, and regulatory compliance, with hands-on experience in analyzing requirements and coordinating projects in a trading environment.
• This role provides the opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders, traders, operations, compliance, and technology teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist senior PM in project planning, tracking, and reporting deliverables across the SDLC (Agile Scrum methodologies).
• Act as a bridge between business users, technology teams, and operations to gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements.
• Support the implementation of trading and post-trade solutions (Order Management Systems, Execution Management Systems).
• Participate in UAT (User Acceptance Testing)
• Prepare business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications (FSD), and project status reports.

Skills Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, or Junior PM in Capital Markets, Trading, or Investment Banking environment.
• Good understanding of trade lifecycle (front-to-back), asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, FX), and institutional trading workflows.

Must Have skills:

• Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Familiar with JIRA
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology

Good to have skills:

• Understanding of Buy/Sell side business environment
• SDLC
• End-to-end software delivery
