Jr Accountant

At Very Much Indian, every saree carries the work of a weaver's hands, and every rupee behind it deserves the same care. We're looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to keep our books as precise as our weaves.

Salary: 25,000/month

What you'll do

• Record daily sales, purchase, expense and journal entries in our accounting software
• Reconcile Shopify, payment gateway and COD courier payouts against orders and bank statements
• Process weaver, vendor and supplier payments, and keep ledgers and payables up to date
• Prepare GST working data, TDS entries, and e-way bills or e-invoices for dispatches
• Track exhibition sales and wholesale receivables, and follow up on outstanding payments
• Support the monthly MIS with order-level revenue, cost and margin data
• Maintain invoices, bills and audit records, and coordinate with our external CA
• Handle petty cash, expense claims and basic payroll inputs

What we're looking for

• B.Com / M.Com / BBA (Finance)
• Working knowledge of accounting software and GST basics
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivots, reconciliations)
• Detail-oriented, organised, and comfortable with high-volume transactions
