About The Role
ATMS & Co. LLP is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated
Junior Accountant to join our team in Mulund. The ideal candidate should have 1–3 years of experience in accounting and a good understanding of day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities.
- Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Assist in preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules.
- Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance-related activities.
- Assist in maintaining accurate books of accounts and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with clients and internal teams regarding accounting-related matters.
- Assist senior accountants and the CA team with various accounting assignments.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in accounting.
- Graduate degree in B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification.
- Good knowledge of basic accounting principles.
- Working knowledge of Tally / accounting software and MS Excel.
- Basic understanding of GST and TDS.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
