About The Role
We are looking for a passionate and curious fresher to join our editorial team as a Website Journalist. The ideal candidate should have strong writing skills, a keen interest in news and current affairs, and the ability to create clear, engaging, and well-researched content for digital audiences.
Key Responsibilities
Write news articles, features, and short explainers for the website.
Research topics, gather information, and ensure factual accuracy.
Follow the editorial style and tone of the brand.
Stay updated with daily news, trends, and relevant topics.
Assist the team with content updates, proofreading, and basic publishing tasks.
Coordinate with editors and designers for a smooth story workflow.
Learn and follow SEO-friendly writing and digital publishing best practices.
Write and edit original stories for Brut India's website across news, culture, lifestyle and social impact.
Craft SEO-friendly headlines, intros and copy without compromising editorial integrity.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or related field
Internship Experience In Writing/journalism (preferred But Not Mandatory)
Writing samples or portfolio will be an added advantage

Basic understanding of news and current events
