Role Description

We are seeking a confident and professional News Reader and Journalist to present news stories and breaking updates in a clear and engaging manner. The ideal candidate will have strong language skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced newsroom.

In addition to reporting duties, the candidate will also be responsible for generating and collecting advertisements for the media platform, building advertiser relationships, and supporting revenue growth.

Preferred location: Around North Kolkata | UG or PG student preferred.

Internship duration: 1 months

Stipend: Travel reimbursement only

Post internship you will be offered a full time role

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Press Releases, News Writing, and general Writing
• Proficiency in Research and analyzing complex topics
• Basic understanding or experience in Broadcasting and media production
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic newsroom environment
• Fluency in Bengali and English is strongly preferred
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field
• Basic video editing
