Journalist (Freelancer)

Key Responsibilities:

• Research and write breaking news, feature stories, and human-interest pieces that engage and inform a wide audience.
• Conduct interviews with experts, public figures, and everyday individuals to uncover original and compelling narratives.
• Monitor news cycles, trends, and developments across local, national, and global landscapes to ensure timely and relevant reporting.
• Collaborate with editors and content teams to uphold editorial standards, strengthen storytelling, and refine content structure.
• Adapt stories for multiple platforms, including digital, print, and social media.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Journalist, Reporter, or Content Writer in a fast-paced editorial environment.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and investigative research skills.
• A broad and informed understanding of current affairs, politics, social issues, and cultural trends.
• Ability to work independently under tight deadlines and pivot quickly as stories evolve.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for conducting insightful interviews.
