Journalism Intern

With a monthly viewership exceeding 512K across 28 Indian states, EduAdvice serves students, educators, parents, and academicians with timely information on admissions, scholarships, academic jobs, and career opportunities. Its initiatives, including podcasts, campus news, and scholarship alerts, foster engagement and informed decision-making in education. In addition to news and resources, EduAdvice has a strong social presence through its NGO Udaan, which is committed to child education and skill development, making a difference in underserved communities.

This is a full-time remote role for a Journalism Intern. As a Journalism Intern, you will contribute to the creation of high-quality content, including press releases, news articles, and features on education-related topics. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve conducting thorough research, writing compelling articles, preparing press releases, and assisting with accurate and timely news updates. You will collaborate with the team to ensure journalistic excellence and engage with a diverse audience.

• Strong Writing and News Writing skills
• Proficiency in drafting and editing Press Releases
• Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills
• Research skills to gather accurate and relevant information
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup
• Interest in education trends and familiarity with the education sector is a plus
• Pursuing or completed a degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field
• Proficiency in digital tools and platforms is desirable
