Role Description The Journalism Intern role at EduAdvice™ is a full-time paid internship for 3 months, on-site position based in West Delhi. The intern will assist in researching and writing news articles, features, and updates related to education, including school and university announcements, policy changes, scholarships, and academic opportunities. Day-to-day tasks include conducting interviews, verifying information, drafting press releases, and collaborating with editors to ensure accuracy, clarity, and relevance of published content. The intern will support coverage for EduAdvice™ initiatives such as campus news, news alerts, and podcasts, and may contribute to social media and community engagement efforts. This role offers hands-on experience in digital journalism and exposure to a wide network of education stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Strong writing and news writing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging content.
  • Ability to conduct thorough research and fact-checking for education-related stories and reports.
  • Experience or interest in preparing press releases and formal announcements for public dissemination.
  • Effective communication skills, including interviewing sources and collaborating with editorial and media teams.
  • Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Journalism, Mass Communication, English, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of digital media, online publishing, and social media platforms.
  • Attention to detail, strong ethical judgment, and commitment to accuracy and impartial reporting.
  • Ability to work on-site in West Delhi, manage deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced newsroom environment.
