Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Joinery Technical Engineer based in Accra . The Joinery Technical Engineer will be responsible for designing, detailing, and developing technical drawings for joinery projects. Day-to-day tasks include creating technical drafts, collaborating with designers and architects, ensuring quality standards, and managing project timelines. The role also involves troubleshooting design and fabrication challenges and ensuring adherence to industry and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software, 3D modeling, and technical drawing for design and drafting purposes
• Thorough understanding of wood materials, joinery methods, and manufacturing techniques
• Strong project management and organizational skills to ensure timely and high-quality delivery
• Ability to work within a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively with designers, architects, and clients
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills to address project challenges and ensure precision in designs
• Relevant vocational or academic qualification in engineering, architecture, or related fields
• Experience in the joinery, furniture, or related industries is highly desirable
• Familiarity with safety regulations and standards in the woodworking or construction industry
