Joinery Setterout Draftsman

This is a full-time on-site role for a Joinery Setterout Draftsman, located in Coimbatore. The individual will be responsible for preparing detailed shop drawings for furniture and joinery projects, ensuring they meet client specifications and production standards. Key responsibilities include creating accurate material and cutting lists, coordinating with design and production teams, and ensuring adherence to project timelines. The role will involve interpreting client drawings, preparing technical designs using CAD software, and assisting in optimizing efficiency for production processes.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD® and Autodesk Inventor for creating 2D and 3D designs
• Strong technical skills in joinery detailing and creating cutting lists
• Experience with CNC machine interfacing and production optimization
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and ensure alignment with client specifications
• Familiarity with commercial and technical order management processes
• Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to address design and production challenges
• Knowledge of furniture manufacturing processes, materials, and components
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or a relevant field
• Previous experience as a joinery draftsman or setterout is preferred
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders
