Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced
EHS Engineer/Officer to manage safety compliance and drive safe work practices in electrical automation and power project environments. The role involves ensuring adherence to statutory regulations, monitoring site safety, and promoting a strong safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with CEA safety regulations (2010)
- Monitor safe practices for HT/LT operations, switching, isolation, earthing & LOTO
- Conduct site safety inspections and implement corrective actions
- Supervise contractor safety performance
- Prepare and review JSA, HIRA, SOPs
- Conduct safety inductions and toolbox talks
- Investigate incidents and near-misses
- Ensure proper barricading, signage & access control
- Coordinate with statutory authorities
- Promote behavior-based safety (BBS)
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Degree in Engineering or Science
- Diploma in Industrial Safety (PDIS/ADIS)
- First Aid / Fire & Emergency Response training
- NEBOSH certification (Preferred)
Experience Required
- 3–5 years of EHS experience
- 2–3 years in electrical systems installation
- Exposure to HT/LT systems, substations & transformers
Key Skills
- Electrical safety knowledge
- Familiarity with PTW, LOTO, Arc Flash
- Good communication skills
