Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Rajkot. The role involves managing day-to-day insurance operations, including handling customer inquiries, processing policy proposals, renewals, and endorsements, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery. The Job Title will support sales activities by assisting with lead follow-ups, documentation, and coordination with distribution partners. The role also includes maintaining accurate records in internal systems, generating periodic reports, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory guidelines. The Job Title will work closely with branch leadership to support business targets, enhance customer experience, and uphold SBI General Insurance's service standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
  • Good organizational, documentation, and basic data management skills, including comfort with MS Office and internal CRM or policy administration systems.
  • Sound understanding of general insurance concepts or a strong willingness to learn, with attention to policy terms, processes, and regulatory requirements.
  • Effective communication skills in English and local/regional languages, with the ability to explain products and processes clearly.
  • Problem-solving and coordination abilities to handle day-to-day operational issues and support branch and distribution network needs.
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline (Commerce, Business, Finance, or related fields preferred); relevant insurance certifications (e.g., IRDAI license) are an advantage.
  • Prior experience in insurance, banking, financial services, or customer-facing roles is preferred but not mandatory for highly motivated learners.
  • Ability to work on-site full-time in Rajkot, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and collaborate effectively in a diverse team.
