Position Overview In this role, you will be the primary architect of our data translation layers. You will manage the mapping of complex Capital Market data including trade, position, and reference data into our TIER systems. This requires a unique blend of deep domain knowledge and the technical ability to write and optimize your own SQL queries to validate data integrity and troubleshoot mapping logic.
Key Responsibilities
- Interface Mapping: Design and maintain the mapping logic between disparate upstream data sources and the TIER target environment.
- SQL Analysis: Write, execute, and optimize complex SQL queries to extract data, perform gap analysis, and validate transformation rules.
- Domain Validation: Apply Capital Market domain knowledge to ensure that financial instruments and trade attributes are mapped accurately according to regulatory and business standards.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as the technical liaison between business analysts and developers to ensure mapping requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve data discrepancies or interface failures by performing root-cause analysis within the database environment.
Qualifications Skills
- Must-Have:
- 3 to 7 years of experience within the Capital Markets domain.
- Advanced SQL skills (must be able to write complex joins, subqueries, and data manipulation scripts independently).
- Proven experience in Data Mapping or Interface Management .
- Excellent Communication skills to manage requirements across global teams.
- Willingness to work the EMEA shift .
- Preferred:
- Experience with ETL processes or middleware platforms.
- Understanding of trade lifecycles and financial messaging standards.
