Job opportunity For Sr Design Engineer

Pre-Order Support:

• Assist the Sales team with timely responses to customer inquiries.
• Analyze customer technical requirements and design cables to meet specifications.
• Provide feedback on customer needs relative to OCIs product range.
• Prepare inter-company cable designs and offers in CA (Cable Analysis).
• Review CA families, item codes, and manufacturing instructions prepared by design engineers for accuracy in costing and manufacturing.
• Update raw material specifications and participate in technical meetings with customers to ensure requirements are understood and achievable.
• Supply technical documents, data sheets, drawings, and clarification/deviation lists as needed.
• Support ATL, NPD, DTC, and CSI activities.
• Allocate and monitor the status of team inquiries.

Post-Order Support:

• Confirm final item codes, special instructions, and technical details according to approved documents.
• Migrate final CA item codes to SAP.
• Clear sales orders in SAP for manufacturing purposes.
• Review and propose design-to-cost (DTC) opportunities for strategic orders.
• Prepare technical data and manufacturing instructions for semi-finished cables for procurement.
