Role Overview:
EY India is seeking an experienced Director with strong expertise in Generative AI and Java technologies to lead the design, development, and delivery of innovative, scalable solutions. This role combines technical leadership, client engagement, Business Development, own team building from scratch and strategic vision to drive digital transformation initiatives.
Preferred Domain - Fintech for GCC clients
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architecture and development of GenAI-powered applications and enterprise-grade Java solutions
- Drive innovation by integrating LLMs, AI frameworks, and modern Java-based microservices
- Engage with clients to understand business needs and translate them into technology solutions
- Mentor engineering teams and establish best practices for AI and backend development
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-impact projects
- Ensure scalability, security, and performance of solutions
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong expertise in Java (Spring Boot, Microservices architecture)
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI technologies (LLMs, prompt engineering, AI integration)
- Proven leadership experience in managing large technical teams and client relationships
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in AI/ML solution deployment in enterprise environments
- Exposure to data engineering and API ecosystem design
- Prior consulting experience is a plus
