Job Description – Senior Controls and Instrumentation Engineer (Data Centre)

Project Oversight and Coordination

• Lead end-to-end controls and instrumentation activities across all project phases

• Develop and maintain progress trackers, action logs, and system status reports

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure project alignment and timely execution

Design Review and Technical Advisory

• Review and validate control system designs against project specifications and standards

• Provide technical guidance on BMS, PMS, ELV systems, and integration logic

• Support development of control philosophies, functional specifications, and cause-and-effect matrices

Quality Assurance and Compliance

• Oversee QA/QC processes for installation of control systems and instrumentation equipment

• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with engineering design and industry standards

• Identify risks and implement corrective measures for system reliability and performance

Commissioning and Handover Support

• Participate in commissioning activities and performance testing of systems

• Provide technical inputs during system testing and validation

• Support defect resolution, punch list closure, and final system acceptance

Documentation and Reporting

• Review and approve as-built documentation for all control systems

• Maintain updated engineering documentation throughout project lifecycle

• Prepare technical reports, issue logs, and progress updates for stakeholders
