Position Overview
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will spearhead partnership development initiatives with colleges, PGs/hostels, gyms, salons, and community hubs. This role focuses on building institutional trust, establishing formal tie-ups, and facilitating direct companion onboarding through strategic collaborations.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Development
- Identify and engage with college administrations, PG/hostel owners, gym & salon managers to establish official collaborations
- Present the company as a secure and professional part-time earning platform for students and young professionals
- Develop and execute comprehensive partnership strategies for assigned territory
Program Implementation
- Design and conduct workshops, information sessions, and activation events within partner institutions
- Manage complete partnership lifecycle: initial outreach stakeholder meetings approval processes program activation companion onboarding
- Ensure seamless integration of the company's programs within partner institutions
Performance Management
- Achieve monthly onboarding and revenue targets through strategic partnership initiatives
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with partner institutions for sustained collaboration
- Provide comprehensive performance reports and strategic updates to senior management
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Requirements
Graduate/Postgraduate degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
Experience Requirements
- 3-6 years of demonstrated success in business development, institutional partnerships, or B2B tie-ups
- Prior experience in education sector collaborations, fitness/wellness partnerships, or campus activations preferred
Core Competencies
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills (English, Hindi & Local Language proficiency)
- Proven ability to engage confidently with institutional administrators and business decision makers
- Self-motivated with strong ownership mentality and results-driven approach
- Demonstrated track record of successfully closing institutional collaborations
Performance Framework
Monthly Performance Targets
- Partnership-Driven Onboarding: Minimum 50 companions onboarded monthly through institutional collaborations
- Revenue Generation: 6,00,000 per month from partnerships
Compensation Structure
This is a performance-based role with earnings directly linked to results achieved.
Performance Incentives:
- 2,000 per companion onboarded beyond the 50 monthly minimum
Performance Bonuses:
- 100% target achievement: Additional 25,000/month
- 120% target achievement: Additional 50,000/month
Quarterly Recognition: Best city performer receives special recognition and rewards
