Position Overview:
We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Jewellery Designer with strong technical and design skills. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in conceptualizing, sketching, and developing jewellery collections aligned with current market trends and brand identity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create innovative jewellery concepts, mood boards, and design themes.
- Develop detailed sketches, 2D/3D CAD models, and technical drawings for production.
- Work closely with product development, merchandising, and manufacturing teams.
- Research market trends, materials, gemstones, and new design techniques.
- Ensure design feasibility, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Modify and improve existing designs based on feedback.
- Maintain a library of designs, samples, and collection references.
- Coordinate with vendors and artisans for sample development.
- Present design ideas and collections to management.
- Support photoshoots, catalog development, and marketing material when needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Jewellery Design / Fine Arts / Fashion Design (preferred).
- 45 years of professional experience in jewellery design.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as Rhino, MatrixGold, JewelCAD, CorelDRAW, AutoCAD, etc.
- Strong sketching, design visualization, and detailing skills.
- Good understanding of gemstones, metals, settings, manufacturing processes, and market trends.
- Ability to balance creativity with commercial demand.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Portfolio demonstrating previous jewellery design work (mandatory).
