Jewellery Store Incharge oversees the daily retail operations, inventory, and staff of a jewellery showroom. They are responsible for driving sales targets, ensuring security protocols for high-value items, managing audits, and delivering premium customer service to build client loyalty.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Customer Management:Lead the sales floor to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.Resolve escalated customer complaints and ensure a personalized, luxury shopping experience.Build and maintain client relationships for repeat business, referrals, and exclusive event invitations.Inventory & Stock Management:Conduct regular, meticulous physical stock audits and reconcile them with digital records.Oversee secure handling, tagging, and storage of precious metals and gemstones.Analyze sales data to forecast demand and reorder stock from vendors.Store Operations & Compliance:Ensure the store complies with all hallmarking, GST, and statutory regulations.Maintain floor merchandising, cleanliness, and security (CCTV, alarms, safe operations).Supervise opening and closing procedures, along with daily cash drops and billing processes.Team Leadership:Train and coach sales staff on product knowledge, selling techniques, and brand guidelines.Manage staff schedules, assign floor duties, and track employee performance KPIs.Essential RequirementsExperience: Minimum 3 to 5 years in retail sales with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory role, preferably within the luxury or fine jewellery sector.Skills: Deep knowledge of precious metals, gemstones, and hallmarking standards. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and people management skills.Traits: Unquestionable integrity and trustworthiness (essential when handling high-value assets).Technical: Proficiency in Point of Sale (POS) software, inventory ERP systems, and MIS reporting.
