We are seeking a Senior Sales Head with deep retail and leadership experience to drive exponential sales growth across the retail network.

The Sales Head will lead sales, showroom operations, and customer engagement strategy, ensuring consistent revenue growth, process discipline, and a premium in-store experience across all branches.

This is a high-impact leadership position offering a clear pathway to Chief Sales Officer (CSO) as the organization scales. The role demands a high-energy, customer-centric leader capable of developing people, driving structured sales processes, and ensuring that every showroom achieves its full potential.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales Growth & Strategy
  • Develop and implement monthly and quarterly sales acceleration plans to achieve top-line and profitability targets.
  • Drive category-wise growth (bridal, daily wear, silver, diamond) through data-backed strategies and focused promotions.
  • Set and monitor store-wise sales targets, productivity ratios, and performance benchmarks.
  • Create monthly dashboards to track conversion ratios, average ticket size, and revenue growth trends.
  • Benchmark against leading regional and national jewellery brands for sales and customer engagement excellence.
2. Showroom Performance & Operations
  • Conduct weekly branch performance reviews and operational audits to identify improvement areas.
  • Standardize sales SOPs covering greeting, needs assessment, product presentation, closing, and after-sales follow-ups.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Visual Merchandising teams to ensure campaigns translate into measurable footfall and conversions.
  • Strengthen cross-store coordination to maintain consistent customer experience.
3. People Leadership & Development
  • Lead and mentor Showroom Managers and Sales Advisors to build high-performing teams.
  • Design and conduct sales workshops across branches for continuous skill enhancement.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture emphasizing discipline, accountability, and respect.
  • Develop a succession pipeline for future showroom leaders.
4. Marketing & Customer Experience
  • Align promotional strategies with footfall data and customer insights.
  • Leverage CRM analytics and purchase history to design targeted campaigns and loyalty initiatives.
  • Ensure consistency in customer experience, packaging standards, and brand communication.
  • Strengthen bridal and festive sales funnels to enhance the in-store journey.
5. Data-Driven Decision Making
  • Implement ERP/Power BI-based sales dashboards integrated with existing systems.
  • Use analytics to optimize product mix, inventory turnover, and sales efficiency.
  • Identify high-performing SKUs and replicate successful sales patterns across branches.
6. New Showroom Launches & Expansion
  • Prepare and execute pre-opening sales strategies for new showroom launches.
  • Drive local marketing activations and customer acquisition initiatives during launch phases.
  • Build strong local market connections through community engagement and partnerships.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Marketing, or Retail Management.
  • 1215 years of experience in sales leadership within jewellery, luxury retail, or FMCG sectors.
  • Proven experience managing 10+ retail outlets with measurable sales growth.
  • Strong understanding of customer behavior, merchandising, and store operations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems, Power BI, and CRM analytics.
  • Fluency in Marathi and English preferred.
