JobResponsibilities:
- Ideating for the editorial section of the magazine as well as all the digital properties for Vogue.in - listicles, videos, to instagram content etc
- Write short and long-format pieces on jewelry for print and digital
- Overseeing and producing editorial stories
- Commissioning stories to freelancers - Send out briefs to writers, which can include word count, deadline, fee and writing style
- Proofreading all pages before going to press
- Overseeing artwork, design and photography for the Jewelry section of the magazine - so being involved in photo shoots, image sourcing and ideating on layouts.
- Cultivating relationships with designers, advertisers, PRS, film industry (both talent as well as managers, publicists), influencers both in India and abroad
- Maintaining and updating a bank of freelance contributors
- Collaborating across departments and also externally on various stories and projects. This could also cross over to some promotional/advertising related content in the magazine.
- Maintain relations with external influencers - designers, press offices, Brand reps, film fraternity
- Contribute to events from ideation to execution, something along those lines
