About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced JDE Solution Architect / CNC Consultant to lead the architecture, administration and technical strategy of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (Oracle JDE) landscape.
This role is responsible for ensuring platform stability, performance, scalability and security, while also defining the future-state ERP technology architecture aligned to business goals and digital transformation initiatives.
You will act as a senior technical authority and architectural guide for ERP, working closely with business leaders, IT partners and delivery teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and lead the end-to-end architecture of the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne platform.
- Design, maintain and continuously optimize the JDE CNC and infrastructure architecture for performance, scalability and availability.
- Install, configure and maintain JDE CNC components, tools, environments and software updates.
- Monitor system health, perform root-cause analysis, performance tuning and proactive improvements.
- Provide advanced technical support for JDE infrastructure and platform-related issues.
- Define and drive automation and operational efficiency initiatives to reduce manual administration and improve reliability.
- Ensure strong system security, data integrity and compliance with enterprise and industry best practices.
- Partner with business and IT stakeholders to translate business needs into ERP architecture and technology solutions.
- Define the technology vision and roadmap for ERP (Oracle JD Edwards) aligned with enterprise strategy.
- Lead and guide the Digital Core ERP architecture, ensuring consistency and alignment across technology domains.
- Develop and maintain architecture standards, patterns, decision guides and reference architectures.
- Govern ERP architecture through design reviews and architecture governance forums.
- Champion clean core principles and standardized processes across the JD Edwards landscape.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation, architecture diagrams and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with application, integration, infrastructure, security and data architects to deliver cohesive enterprise solutions.
- Communicate architectural decisions, system impacts and solution trade-offs to business stakeholders and implementation partners.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in JD Edwards EnterpriseOne CNC administration and architecture.
- Deep expertise in:
- JD Edwards EnterpriseOne infrastructure and CNC configuration
- Environment management and release coordination
- System monitoring, troubleshooting and performance tuning
- Strong working knowledge of:
- SQL and database performance concepts
- JDE Orchestrator
- Server administration and networking fundamentals
- GoldenGate or data replication technologies
- Strong problem-solving capability with the ability to work independently in complex environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
