Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the company's general ledger, ensuring all transactions are accurately recorded.
- Use JDE software to manage financial processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations, and manage any localization efforts as needed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Finance Foundation: The candidate must have a strong understanding of financial concepts and principles, and be able to apply them in a business context.
- Expertise in General Ledger: The candidate should have a deep understanding of general ledger accounting, including the ability to manage and reconcile accounts.
- Knowledge of JDE: The candidate must have experience working with JDE (JD Edwards) software, specifically in a financial context.
- The candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with a preference for those holding an advanced degree or relevant certifications.
Preferred Skills
- Real Estate: Experience in real estate accounting or finance would be beneficial.
- Environmental Accounting: Knowledge of environmental accounting principles and practices would be an asset.
- Localization: Experience with localization, including understanding of local tax laws and regulations, would be beneficial.
- Expense: Experience in expense management and reporting would be an advantage.
- Advanced JDE: Advanced knowledge of JDE, beyond the basic requirement, would be a plus.
- Job Costing: Experience in job costing, including the ability to accurately estimate costs and manage budgets, would be beneficial.
- Service Contract Billing: Experience in service contract billing, including understanding of contract terms and billing procedures, would be an asset.
- Financial Analysis: Ability to analyze financial data and make recommendations based on findings.
- Project Management: Experience in managing financial projects, including budgeting and timeline management.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
