About the Role
We are looking for a Coding Agent (JavaScript/TypeScript) – Freelancer to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on modern web development, frontend and backend engineering, and scalable application design.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated code outputs related to JavaScript, TypeScript, APIs, asynchronous programming, and full-stack development, helping improve how AI models generate and reason about production-quality software solutions.
You will collaborate with global AI and engineering teams to assess the correctness, scalability, and maintainability of AI-generated code. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for coding assistance, web development, and software engineering workflows.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including frontend workflows, backend integrations, and optimization strategies
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated JavaScript/TypeScript code responses across different software engineering scenarios
- Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
- Diagnose and solve real-world frontend, backend, and full-stack development challenges to improve AI reasoning capabilities
- Assess AI-generated code for correctness, readability, scalability, and performance
- Identify bugs, inefficient implementations, logical inconsistencies, or edge-case failures in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on JavaScript/TypeScript programming and web technologies
Requirements
- Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript
- Solid understanding of frontend and backend development concepts
- Experience with frameworks and libraries such as React, Node.js, Next.js, Express, or similar technologies
- Familiarity with APIs, asynchronous programming, databases, and modern development workflows
- Ability to critically evaluate code quality, architecture, and software engineering best practices
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
