Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and collaborative JavaScript Developer with a focus on ad creative to join our creative technology team, based in India. This role is pivotal in building and optimizing interactive, high-performance ad creatives that drive engagement and deliver exceptional user experiences. The ideal candidate combines strong JavaScript expertise with deep familiarity of the advertising industry, high emotional intelligence, and proven experience in cross-regional collaboration. You will work closely with creative teams, marketing stakeholders, and cross-functional partners across regions to bring ad concepts to life, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, test, and deploy interactive ad creatives using JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and related front-end technologies, ensuring compatibility across devices, browsers, and ad platforms (e.g., DSPs, ad networks, social media platforms).
  • Collaborate closely with creative designers, copywriters, and marketing teams to translate ad concepts and creative briefs into functional, engaging ad experiences that align with brand standards and campaign goals.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of the advertising industry (ad formats, programmatic advertising, ad delivery standards, and compliance requirements) to build creatives that optimize performance, engagement, and conversion.
  • Lead cross-regional collaboration with teams (e.g., global creative teams, regional marketing teams, engineering teams) to align on creative requirements, resolve technical challenges, and ensure consistent delivery of high-quality ad assets.
  • Troubleshoot and debug ad creative issues, optimize load times and performance, and ensure creatives meet industry standards (e.g., IAB guidelines) and platform-specific requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders (creative, marketing, client teams) using high emotional intelligence, translating technical concepts into clear, actionable feedback and aligning on expectations.
  • Stay updated with emerging front-end technologies, ad creative trends, and industry best practices to continuously improve creative development processes and deliver innovative ad solutions.
  • Collaborate with QA teams to ensure ad creatives are thoroughly tested, bug-free, and deliver a seamless user experience across all target devices and channels.
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related technical field; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
  • 2-4 years of hands-on experience as a JavaScript Developer, with a focus onad creative development (HTML5 ads, interactive ad units, or digital ad technologies).
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and front-end frameworks/libraries relevant to ad creative (e.g., React, Vue.js, GreenSock GSAP for animations).
  • Deep familiarity with the advertising industry, including ad formats (banner ads, interstitial ads, native ads, video ads), programmatic advertising workflows, and IAB standards.
  • Proven experience in cross-regional collaboration, working with global or distributed teams to deliver projects on time and align on creative and technical requirements.
  • High emotional intelligence (EQ) with excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict-resolution skills; ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Experience with ad deployment platforms, ad servers, and testing tools (e.g., Google Web Designer, Adobe Animate, BrowserStack) is mandatory.
  • Detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Understanding of responsive design principles and experience optimizing ad creatives for mobile, desktop, and tablet devices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in ad tech, digital marketing, or creative agencies.
  • Familiarity with programmatic advertising platforms (e.g., The Trade Desk, Google Display & Video 360) and ad creative analytics.
  • Experience with animation libraries (GSAP, Lottie) and interactive ad features (hover effects, click-through interactions, form integrations).
  • Knowledge of ad compliance and privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) as they relate to ad creatives.
  • Portfolio of ad creative projects or front-end work demonstrating interactive and high-performance ad solutions.
