About Position:
We're seeking an experienced backend engineer to join our team in developing a scalable data processing platform. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Python development and distributed database systems.

What You'll Do:
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts.
- Collaborate with developers and test engineers to define test strategies and requirements.
- Create and manage test data for automation purposes.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure resolution in collaboration with development teams.
- Enhance existing automation frameworks and recommend improvements.
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or CloudBees).
- Monitor test execution and report progress, risks, and test coverage.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in test automation.
Expertise You'll Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in software test automation.
- Proficiency with Linux systems and command-line utilities and shell scripts (bash)
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C/C++, Python, Ruby, Java).
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Subversion, Git).
- Experience working with and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or REST Assured
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL).
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering (BE/B.Tech preferred), or a related field. Master degree is a plus.
- Experience with Docker and Puppet
- Knowledge of cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications.
