About the role:

Engineering leader focused on designing and delivering scalable cloud-native applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. Driving end-to-end product development from solution design through deployment on AWS, while ensuring high performance, reliability, and maintainability. Experienced in leading agile teams, mentoring developers, conducting code reviews, and fostering a collaborative engineering culture. Passionate about improving development processes, accelerating delivery timelines, and enhancing customer experience through continuous innovation. Strong advocate of modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted development, automation, and scalable system design to build high-quality enterprise products.

Responsibilities:

Architecture & Design: Lead the technical design of robust, scalable

microservices using Java and Spring Boot, ensuring alignment with industry standard

design patterns.

• Full Lifecycle Development: Drive the end-to-end delivery of features, from

requirements to cloud deployment.

• Mentorship & Leadership: Conducting code reviews and providing hands-on

guidance to the development team. Build a culture of collaboration and team

work.

• Process Improvement: Propose improvements that improves client

experience, quality and TAT

• Agile Collaboration: Participate actively in all agile ceremonies (Sprints,

Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives) to ensure timely delivery and continuous

improvement. Work with senior management and product managers, and

contribute to the build out of a state of the art product.

• Cloud Operations: Deploy and manage applications within cloud

environments, specifically optimizing services for AWS infrastructure.

• Innovation: Stay at the forefront of technology by integrating AI-assisted

development tools to enhance code quality and team productivity.

Required technical skills:

• Java Mastery: 9–12 years of professional experience in Java application

development

• Spring Ecosystem: Deep expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Security

• Hibernate: Experience working on hibernate and good understanding of JPA

• Modern Frontend: Experience building client facing applications using

frontend frameworks (like React or Angular)

• SAS experience: Experience working in a product firm with products

supported in SAS model. Good understanding of product development and

product release lifecycle maintaining multiple product versions.

• Database Management: Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex

query optimization, indexing strategies, and relational schema design.

• Design and Architecture: Good understanding of design patterns for API

development. Knowledge on building extensible applications driven through

configuration. Experience building resilient applications ensuring optimal

resourcing and cost.

• Cloud Foundations: Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, with a strong

preference for AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS).
