KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, enterprise-level applications using Core Java with 10+ years of hands-on experience.

• Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to provide effective technical solutions and support.

• Analyze business requirements and ensure software solutions meet functional, technical, and business objectives.

• Manage the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) including requirement analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

• Design and develop secure, high-performance, and scalable applications following industry best practices.

• Manage source code, version control, and release processes with proper documentation and build management.

• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and improvements to enhance application performance and efficiency.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth communication and successful project execution.

• Ensure quality through code reviews, documentation, unit testing, regression testing, integration testing, and UAT support.

• Deliver projects within defined timelines while maintaining high standards of software quality and reliability.

QUALIFICATION/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• 10+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Core Java and enterprise application development.

• Hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, REST/SOAP Web Services, and Microservices architecture.

• Strong knowledge of Node.js and AngularJS for full-stack application development.

• Experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ and JMS.

• Working knowledge of Swagger, Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, CI/CD pipelines, and Jenkins Blue Ocean.

• Experience with build and dependency management tools like Maven and Apache Ant.

• Good understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.

• Strong database skills with PostgreSQL and SQL Server.

• Expertise in Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) and implementation of design patterns.

• Deep understanding of Java/JEE internals including class loading, JVM memory management, transaction handling, and multithreading concepts.

• Proven experience in designing and developing robust Java-based enterprise applications.

• Mandatory experience in Banking and Financial Services (BFSI) domain.

• Experience with payment systems including POS integration, ISO 8583 messaging, VISA/MasterCard/RuPay interfaces will be preferred.

• Good understanding of application security and information security best practices.

• Ability to quickly understand requirements, develop prototypes, and validate solutions with stakeholders.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Strong collaboration skills with a proactive, innovative, and problem-solving approach.

• Ability to work in an Agile environment with a continuous improvement mindset.
