Key Responsibilities
- Lead, guide, and grow a team of Java developers — setting technical standards and ensuring consistently high-quality deliverables across all projects.
- Drive the complete lifecycle of technical design, implementation, deployment, and ongoing production support from inception to release.
- Architect and develop high-volume, low-latency applications engineered for maximum availability and performance under pressure.
- Partner closely with business stakeholders to ensure all technical designs are fully aligned with functional specifications and product goals.
- Perform rigorous development and unit testing, enforce engineering best practices, and uphold a high standard of code quality across the codebase.
- Be an active, hands-on contributor across all phases — from architecture planning and sprint reviews to code reviews and production releases.
Requirements
- Core Java & Frameworks: Strong command of Core Java / J2EE, OOP concepts, Spring, Spring Boot, Struts, and Play Framework.
- ORM & Data Layer: Hands-on experience with JPA, Hibernate, and other ORMs.
- Messaging & Distributed Systems: Proficiency with Kafka, SQS, SNS, JMS, and distributed messaging architectures.
- Databases: Working knowledge of Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
- APIs & Build Tools: Experience with REST and SOAP web services, Maven, and Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Version Control: Proficient with Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
