Could that be you

We are looking for an experienced JAVA Technical Lead to build clean, scalable, maintainable, and production-ready applications. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience taking Python applications into production, enforcing engineering best practices.

What you'll do at EvoluteIQ:

• Own end-to-end technical design for web and enterprise applications, including browser/client, DNS, TLS/HTTPS, reverse proxy/load balancer, API/middle tier, messaging, cache, databases, and deployment infrastructure.
• Lead hands-on Java development and engineering using Java, JVM, Spring/Spring Boot and modern API/microservice patterns; review critical code and solve complex technical problems.
• Design for performance, scalability, high availability, resilience, security, observability, maintainability, backup/recovery, and capacity requirements.
• Prepare HLDs; drive and review team LLDs, API contracts, data models, sequence flows, integration designs, and deployment designs.
• Validate WBS, estimates, dependencies, assumptions, technical risks, and implementation plans; work closely with Project Management through delivery.
• Partner with Product Management to refine requirements, identify edge cases/NFRs, assess feasibility, and translate product intent into implementable solutions.
• Mentor engineers, enforce engineering standards, perform design/code reviews, and lead root-cause analysis for production and performance issues.

What will you bring to the team

• 15+ years of software engineering experience, including 2-4+ years as a Technical Lead/Lead Engineer.
• Architecture/design patterns, distributed systems, troubleshooting across application/database/network/infrastructure layers, and strong analytical problem solving
• Strong Java and JVM fundamentals: collections, concurrency, multithreading, memory management, garbage collection, profiling, exception handling, and performance tuning.
• Spring / Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, dependency injection, persistence frameworks such as JPA/Hibernate, and enterprise integration patterns.
• RDBMS expertise: MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle/SQL Server; data modelling, SQL tuning, indexing, transactions, locking, isolation, connection pooling, HA and scalability.
• Working knowledge of NoSQL/cache/search technologies such as Redis, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, or Cassandra; messaging such as Kafka/ActiveMQ/RabbitMQ.
• HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, DNS, TCP/IP basics, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, API security, certificates, NGINX/reverse proxies, load balancing and clustering.
• Linux, Docker, Kubernetes fundamentals, CI/CD, cloud deployment concepts and production observability/logging/monitoring.
