Java Technical Lead

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Technical Lead who can drive the design and development of high-performing, scalable, and distributed applications. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Core Java, Microservices, Multithreading, and Distributed Systems, with strong architectural and leadership skills.

As a Technical Lead, you will guide a team of developers, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture, design, and development of enterprise applications.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of Java developers.
• Design and implement microservices-based architectures ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Work extensively on multithreading and distributed systems for performance optimization.
• Implement containerization solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and ensure smooth project execution.
• Design and optimize NoSQL databases (Cassandra preferred) for large-scale data handling.
• Apply OOAD principles, design patterns, and UML modeling to create robust software solutions.
• Ensure adherence to best practices, coding standards, and agile development methodologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

7+ years of hands-on experience in Java development, with at least 2+ years in a lead/architect role.

Strong expertise in Core Java, Microservices, Multithreading, and Distributed Systems.

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.

Strong database concepts with experience in NoSQL databases (Cassandra preferred).

Proven experience in object-oriented analysis, design patterns, and UML.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.

Good to Have

Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Experience in performance tuning and large-scale system design.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
