Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop high-level architecture solutions for Java-based applications
Define technical standards, coding guidelines, and best practices for Java development
Lead and mentor development teams through the software development lifecycle
Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs
Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools to meet project goals
Ensure architecture solutions are scalable, performant, and secure
Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to developers
Identify and mitigate technical risks and issues
Oversee integration with external systems and services
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to Java and software architecture
Support deployment, troubleshooting, and performance tuning of Java applications
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Extensive experience in Java development and architecture (8+ years)
Strong knowledge of Java EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate, RESTful services, and microservices architecture
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
Solid understanding of design patterns, software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum)
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills
Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL) and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
Knowledge of security best practices and implementation in Java applications
